Triathlon Training Plan Newsletter

Where’s the time?

Dear Friend,

First I want to apologize for sending out an older newsletter on July 4th! That was a mistake on my part!

Perhaps it had to do with being too busy??

This leads me to what I wanted to talk about today. The concept of time management.

I have just finished a book called The Four Hour Workweek, by Tim Ferris. It’s geared towards both office workers and entrepreneurs who are looking for a way to work less but continue to make more money!

The book was a great education for me and I highly recommend it. If you are a triathlete and having problems fitting in all your workouts and working 8-10 hours at your job or business, this is for you. Ferris gets into outsourcing your life and exactly how to do that to maximize your time and income.

To me the book is like an MBA but much cheaper and more efficient!

Most of us want more time to do the things we want to do (like complete that next swim workout!). Making lots of money is important but that’s usually secondary to having more time. This book I believe is revolutionary in showing people how they can have more time and earn more money! For more and to order, go to:

Enjoy,
Kevin

TRI SWIM- Sun and Cholorine Facts

We all know how bad chlorine makes us smell. But did you know that chlorine chemically bonds to your hair and skin? Larger municipal pools employ direct injection of liquid chlorine. Smaller community pools generally rely on sodium hypochlorite. Overexposure to the sun and these chemicals actually causes the hair and skin to change.

I’m proud to present TRISWIM- the new generation of chlorine out body and skin care for after-swim

TRISWIM contains 5 sequestering agents which capture the chlorine molecule and wash it down the drain. What’s more…

It contains Organic Aloe, Vitamins A&E, plus it smells great and swimmers love it!

Because there was a lack of personal care products that removed chlorine and the harsh chemicals found in most pools (I know, I’ve tried all of them!), the original idea for TRISWIM was developed by a swimmer for swimmers.

Now the full TRISWIM line- Shampoo, Body Wash, Lotion, and Conditioner has been tested and endorsed by swimmers and triathletes from all levels of competition.

Tip of the Month: Get Off Your Stomach

If you’re swimming on your stomach, you will need to change this bad habit! Triathletes need all the energy they can get, and learning to swim on your side rather than swimming flat in the water will allow you to reserve your energy for the main part of the race. If you’re a stomach swimmer, you are using a lot of muscle to power through the water- as well as burning fuel you will need later!
